Accutane® and Suicide

(800) 880-4965

Accutane suicides have been reported in patients since 1982. Over the years it has become more difficult to receive Accutane due to its link to birth defects and fetal death as well as the instances of Accutane suicide. Congressman Bart Stupak has been particularly involved in the fight against Accutane's availability. Stupak had a direct experience with an Accutane suicide when his grandson committed suicide while taking the acne medication.

Parents and families have voiced their concerns regarding the possible occurrence of Accutane suicide. Witnessing changes in behavior including depression and psychotic symptoms, parents fear the acne medication triggers Accutane suicides. Although the manufacturer has maintained Accutane suicides do not occur, the FDA has tried to more strictly regulate Accutane.

If you or your child has been adversely affected by Accutane results, please contact an Accutane Lawyer to learn more information on Accutane suicide and your legal rights.
