Baycol Litigation

The director of Public Citizen consumer group believes hundreds of Baycol patients have probably suffered from rhabdomyolysis but did not report it, which could explain the high number of people involved in Baycol litigation.

There are still around 9,400 pending Baycol litigation cases and Bayer has settled 888 Baycol lawsuits as of June 10, 2003. The amount of Baycol litigation that has continued to be filed has surprised many people. With gross underestimating thought to occur, the high Baycol litigation claims made may be because a higher number of people than previously thought have suffered Baycol side effects.
