Lamisil Drug
Lamisil drug is associated to deadly liver failure. Patients with preexisting liver conditions have a higher risk of suffering side effects associated to Lamisil, however it was observed that patients suffering liver damage, transplantation, and death were not patients with a higher risk for liver failure. The FDA issued a Lamisil drug warning to alert physicians of the dangers of the Lamisil.
The Lamisil drug label was also changed to better warn patients of the risk of liver failure. Patients with chronic or active liver disease should not use Lamisil drug. All patients should be evaluated to determine their individual risk assessment for suffering liver disease before deciding if Lamisil drug will benefit them.
