Levaquin® is the Johnson & Johnson/Ortho-MacNeill brand name for levofloxacin, a powerful fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to fight bacterial infections in the body. Levaquin® and generic levofloxacin are used to treat infections of the skin, lungs, kidneys, and urinary tract, as well as some sexually transmitted diseases and exposure to certain bacterial agents, such as anthrax. Generic Levaquin®
