Class action lawsuit filed against Pfizer Inc. over Celebrex

A federal class action lawsuit has been filed in Connecticut against Pfizer Inc. claiming the company misled investors about the safety of Celebrex. Celebrex is the nation's leading arthritis painkiller, but it has experienced a sharp decline in new prescriptions after a government-led study in December showed an increased risk of heart attack and strokes linked to the use of the drug.
