New York City sues GlaxoSmithKline over Paxil

New York City has filed a lawsuit claiming GlaxoSmithKline has engaged in "anticompetitive, fraudulent, and inequitable conduct" when it acquired over a dozen Paxil patents over the past ten years. The only purpose, according to the lawsuit, that Glaxo filed these patents was to preserve its monopoly on profits.
