Propecia® Side Effects
Most of the non-sexual side effects of Propecia® are felt by users who experience allergic reactions. These can include itching, rashes and swelling of the lips and face. Results from a new study conducted by a George Washington University professor suggest otherwise. The professor studied a group of Propecia® users who had problems with sexual dysfunction and found that 94 percent of them had a decreased sex drive, 92 percent had problems with erectile dysfunction, and 69 percent had problems with orgasm.
The average duration of Propecia® use by men in the study was 28 months, but the erectile dysfunction and other sexual side effects continued for an average of 40 months and occurred even after they stopped treatment. The study also showed that most of the men experienced more than one sexual side effect.
