Facts About Yaz

Yaz is generically known as drispirenone. Yaz and Yasmin are produced and distributed by Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals. When taken as directed, Yaz is reported to be more than 99 percent effective at preventing pregnancy. Additionally, Yaz has been FDA approved in the treatment of moderate acne (in females over 14) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). Yaz is a 24/4-day pill that women should take at about the same time each day (with 4 hours of the same time.
